After nearly two years into our work to support therapists, and our team is growing! We are thrilled to welcome Naiylah Warren and Billy Angelo to our executive board as secretary and treasurer, respectively. In the short time they have been with us, they have both provided some new perspectives and energy to TRN, and we can't wait to see how we grow with them. Here's a bit more about our new board members:
When we met with Naiylah, we knew we couldn't have a board full of just therapists, but her passion for supporting therapists, grounded personality, and experience in the mental health arena and beyond were too good to pass up. We are so grateful to have Nai's wisdom and expertise on the TRN board.

Dr. Naiylah Warren is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, clinical content creator, and strategist with more than a decade of experience across digital mental health, corporate wellness, and clinical consulting. She specializes in designing and advising on evidence-based, culturally responsive mental health products and programs that bridge care, culture, and technology. In addition to her consulting and strategy work, Dr. Warren maintains a private practice supporting individuals and couples through relational healing and personal growth.
She has shared "As a clinician, I’ve developed a deep passion for supporting the therapists who hold space for others every day. While it’s an honor to walk with clients through some of the most challenging moments of their lives, clinicians themselves are often overlooked when they experience hardship."
When I reached out to Billy, he was immediately interested in finding out new ways to support therapists. And I was really grateful to have someone who knows WAY more about accounting than I do!

Billy Angelo, CPA, ARPC, is the managing partner of Angelo & Associates, a CPA firm specializing in helping mental health professionals, Billy spends most of his time helping therapists manage their finances and build stronger practices. He and his team also created Providers Prosper, a website with the sole focus of providing free, practical financial guidance for therapists. “Helping the helpers” has become Billy’s core philosophy. He often sees therapists undervaluing their services and burning out while trying to care for everyone but themselves. Joining the Therapist Resource Network gives him an opportunity to give back to the therapist community in a deeper way and support those who spend their lives supporting others.
We are especially excited to have someone knowledgeable to take over the financial aspects of the TRN board (because as therapists, it's not generally in our wheelhouse!).
