I can't believe that 2025 is coming to a close. I don't know about you, but ever since the pandemic, time moves in a way that I can't always wrap my head around. But looking back at what all has happened with TRN this year helps me recognize how much we have accomplished! Especially since we work on all this outside of our jobs, volunteering time and energy to this important project. Here are a few highlights:
*We have filled 18 grants this year, making a total of 21 grants since we starting our grant program this time last year. That's 21 therapists who were experiencing a natural disaster or personal emergency we were able to provide a financial boost for. This includes therapists who were impacted by a hurricane, sudden injury, unexpected illness or some other event. This is what I'm most proud of. We continue to have funds available to fill grants thanks to your donations.
*We added two new board members, Naiylah Warren and Billy Angelo. They have been valuable voices and supporters already; Zandra and I are so grateful to build this dynamic team.
*Starting this summer, I began a concerted effort to post regularly on LinkedIn and boy was it successful! I got to meet with a number of individuals who are also passionate about supporting therapists in so many creative ways. It led to our first corporate donation from Allia Health. More than anything, it helped keep my spirits up knowing there are so many people who were supportive of our mission.

Looking forward to next year, in addition to continuing our therapist grant funding, we have a few goals at the top of mind:
*Begin providing free burnout prevention programming for therapists. Keep your eyes peeled for more information coming at the beginning of 2026!
*Launch opportunities for businesses and corporations to sponsor events and partner with us.
*Continue to spread the word to therapist communities about the work we are doing to support therapists.
*Update our website to include a resource directory for therapists.
I want to close out the year with a note of gratitude. I am so grateful to my dream team at TRN: Zandra, Nai, and Billy. I'm also grateful to my family and friends who have supported this endeavor through the ups and downs and uncertainty. Certainly, I'm grateful for therapists across the country who are doing the work to support their clients. And of course I'm grateful to our donors who make our work possible. Thank you!
